Halloumi

I had some fried halloumi (Cypriot cheese) today! The only cheese I've seen served fried. I found it a little salty, but it was a nice remembrance to the time I spent on Cyprus.

Americans bread and fry mozarella cheese ("string" cheese). It's a New England delicacy, but has since spread to other parts of the country. It's commonly served with marinara sauce.

Halloumi! Yummi! Now that we've moved, I need to look for a store around my new home that sells it to. I've been told that Handelshof (belongs to Kaufland) has it. Will check this soon...
