Why did people vote for Bush?

sparkofcreation would like to know from those who voted for Bush (or would have, if they could vote) why they did so, since (she says) she honestly doesn't understand and would like to know.

No flaming, please, regardless of whom you (would have) voted for. And no campaigning or trying to change other people's minds.
