Subway for the night

Tonight I went by Subway to get a couple of sandwiches—they had a "Buy One, Get One Free" offer after 8 p.m. which I decided to take advantage of :) So I went there at the dot of eight, and the young cheerful lady was clearing up and took my order. I decided to ask her for her name and she said that she's called Michaela—"a typical German name", she said. I think she was a little amused that I was not buying just cookies tonight :)
So I got a BBQ Rib sandwich with extra bacon for myself and a Ham sandwich for Stella, as well as a cookie. There were only two left, so the choice of which kind to take was easy ;)
When I paid, she gave me Sub Club stamps, which surprised me, since the coupon said "No Sub Club stamps", but she said that applied only to the free sub and that the one you pay for gets you regular stamps. Which was fine with me. And at the end of the transaction, she said, "As usual—have a good weekend!" And I said, "The same to you—and have fun working!" At which she said that she was coming off shift, and I was her last customer; I guess her shift went until eight today.
On the way home, there was a girl opposite me in the bus with a button on her coat; at a closer look, it said "Everyone has the right to be stupid, but you are abusing the privilege" (in English), which I found an amusing quote =)
