Re: LJ Book
Date: Saturday, 5 March 2005 08:07 (UTC)I changed my password before making my .pdfs, and then changed it back after. It worked just fine. It was hanging a bit right around the time of the Six Apart purchase, I forget why (it wasn't overload I think) but once they resolved the issue, it worked like a charm. It also then gives you a way to search your journal, which is nice!

Date: Monday, 7 March 2005 04:50 (UTC)Also, the methods I listed run on your own PC and don't require you to give your password to another site in order to access protected entries (another user suggested LJBook, which also has that requirement).
And for thirds, Frienditto is currently unavailable; if it goes away and comes back like this in the future, it's an ineffective way of backing up your journal -- a backup that you can't access isn't of much use.
