If you'd like to "delete" stuff like a geek, then the <strike> tag (or its cousin <s>) is probably not what you're looking for. No, nor is <span style="text-decoration: line-through">.

Consider using <del> and <ins> instead for "del"etions and "ins"ertions. Here's what they look like in your browser:

wouldn't the < strike> tag be the parent of the < s> tag? since the < s> is just a smaller way of writing < strike>?
