The meme is this: take the first sentence of the first post of each month.

January: Happy New Year 2005!

February: Everyone is born left-handed, and becomes right-handed when they commit their first sin.

March: Happy Birthday volantwishjAna!

April: In Hungary, part of the test that decides whether you're allowed to go to 1st grade or have to stay in preschool is drawing!

May: Q: How many gamers does it take to screw in a lightbulb? // A: 1d6

June: For those of you who aren't watching [site community profile] dw_news: (1) shame on you and go add it now, and (2) LiveJournal will be having another permanent account sale soon.

July: See http://www.geeksunite.net/ or various mirrors.

August: Who says blind people can't play video games?

September: Random linguistic observation on Turkish ğ and Maltese

October: about the e-mail client Mulberry I only used it for about ten minutes once, but I heard that it was one of the better IMAP clients around.

November: The German word for "nipple" translates literally as "breast wart". No, seriously.

December: Back in the good old days when my machine was a Schneider CPC464 (sold under the "Amstrad" brand name in the UK), I once bought the game "Paranoia" on cassette tape.

Hm... I think of all those, only the last one is remotely useful for a review of the year; the rest are mostly unconnected bits... which, I think, exemplifies my journal rather well :)
