A poll on numbers and letters

I was curious what the distribution of lengths and first letters was in people's names… for example, in German, I believe the most common first letter for a family name is 'S'. So I thought I'd make a poll—and toss in some more statistics about accounts in as well, while I'm at it. You'll probably need your full userinfo page to answer some questions.

Oh no! I didn't read that there were options to say you didn't have the 'mutual friends' setup so I just counted the number of bolded or unbolded people and put the numbers in the corresponding boxes. So don't expect your mutual friend/other friends/friends of questions to add up.

So far, I have the longest given name! Whee! I would've liked a question about nicknames though - people never actually call me by that monstrosity.

I assumed that you meant my last name in Greek, therefore chose these options. Otherwise, eh, it's 10 letters and a V, in English.

I appear to be the biggest commenter so far at 20,062 ... make that 20,063. Heh.

I switched b/w Mutual Friends and Friend-of options to answer each question... and for the purposes of 'posting access' and community memberships I counted memberships, not just "communities I actually monitor." .. you should have had that question, to see discrepancies b/w how many comms people JOIN and how many they actually deign to have show up on their friends list. *chuckle*

I wasn't sure if for family name you meant my current last name, or my maiden name. So I voted with my married name. My maiden name, in case you are curious, also is 5 letters long and it begins with S.

*g* I wasn't sure either, so I went with my maiden name. My married name is 7 letters and begins with E, and the whole legal monstrosity is 11 letters plus a hyphen and begins with K.

Oh, also I did not count duplicate personal journals in my Friends count.. e.g. people who maintain a separate journal for NaNo or the like.

It's hard to comment on this. It takes very long time to load even on 3mbps Cable.
