Are you sitting comfortably? Then we'll begin.
Thursday, 22 December 2005 10:41When reading Amy a bedtime story, or sometimes during the day, I'd usually sit down and sit her on my lap while we read the book together.
She seems to have got into the habit of doing that, because for the last couple of days, when she wanted to have a book read to her, she'd not only come up to me brandishing the book but, if I was sitting on the ground, would turn around and attempt to sit down on my leg.
I think that's really cute :) especially since she's still a bit "unbeholfen" (awkward/clumsy/ungainly, but the German word has a slightly cuter connotation to me) in her attempts to sit down there.
