Rubik's cube too easy for you? Three dimensions don't really challenge you?

Try out this four-dimensional cube applet (a two-dimensional rendering [on a screen] of a three-dimensional projection of a four-dimensional puzzle).

I've had this on my computer for some time, and it's a lot of fun. However, I still can't wrap my head around a lot of the geometry. :S

I can't even *begin* to grok that thing. I tried it, or a similar one, in the past, and my mind exploded.

I'm working on understanding 4D, and I can just about visualise simple 4D shapes as a set of superimposed 3D shapes, but I want to get good at it doing it "properly". A 4D Rubik's cube is too big a step to take all in one go, though.
