I got mail!

I wondered why I might be getting a parcel in the mail, but then I saw the little not "lj plushy excha[...]" (the post office had stuck a sticker over the rest). Whee! I've been plushied!

And inside was "the mouse", well-known from the Sendung mit der Maus. Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] lied_ohne_worte!

Yay indeed! It taught me lots and lots of interesting things.

When I was a kid, it was always on on Thursdays (Monday to Wednesday was Sesamstraße, Friday was Hallo Spencer).

When I was a kid, too. Thanks for reminding me of Hallo Spencer. I'd already forgotten about that. ^^ The Sendung mit der Maus on Thursdays was only a repetion of what they'd shown the Sunday before, but I didn't mind watching it twice.

My dad is probably the biggest "Mausfan" that I know because he still watches it every Sunday and has bought quite a few "Sendung mit der Maus"-articles, for example the stuffed animal from your picture.
