SpamAssassin and German

The SpamAssassin installation on a couple of email providers I use sometimes mark legitimate mail from companies I deal with as spam because they talk about credit cards in German: Kreditkarten.

Apparently, spelling "credit" with a "k" is suspicious. Which I suppose it is in English -- an attempt at obfuscation -- but it's fine in German.

Pity the SA installation can't read minds and know that, unlike most of the other customers of the service, I'm in Germany and regularly receive messages in German!

The solution, of course, is to have your own server running spamassassin (like I do) and tailor it to your own needs :)
