Amy's syntax, part 2
Monday, 26 March 2007 09:33Amy's speech is pretty much lacking in prepositions so far.
This is most easily visible when she's talking about something hiding somewhere; she'll say things such as fa hie-tie ka-ka "The frog is hiding (behind) the curtain". I think she's also said things like Amy ee weh puddy boo poon "Amy's eating the red pudding (with) the blue spoon", naming an instrument but omitting the preposition.
