If I read this page correctly, the exchange rate will be €1 = Lm0.429300.
(A “natural” size for starter kits—if there are going to be any—would, therefore, be €11.65 = Lm5.00, given that starter kits were apparently typically between €10 and €20 in value. [They were €10.23 = DM 20.008… in Germany, sold for DM 20.00.])

Date: Thursday, 10 May 2007 11:02 (UTC)Some people also collect them, especially unopened bags or sets from each of various mints (there are IIRC five mints that produce coins in Germany and coins bear the mark of a given one -- some people thus collect all five of each start kit, or all five of a given coin). But I believe that was not their main purpose.
