New slat frame

After years of sleeping on a slat frame that creaks and groans when you move, it was a tad disconcerting that the new one doesn't :)

I didn't notice that so much the first few nights because I had the new mattress on the frame in its plastic packaging, which rustled when you moved. But we put my old mattress back yesterday, so it was rather noticeable last night.

My dad reckons the same thing about driving a hybrid petrol-electric car. He said it was very disconcerting; when he stopped at the traffic lights, so did the sound of the engine.
