I think Amy's just about ready for the Wug Test now -- she seems to be able to pluralise English nouns by adding -s, even without prompting.

(For the full Monty, she should be able to pick the right form /-z/ /-s/ /-Iz/; I don't think she's quite there yet, though IIRC the /-Iz/ form is usually the last to be acquired -- I think she tends to use /-s/ for all.)

Yes, -es is the last to be aquired - kids who haven't gotten the full hang of the -es ending will just use the same word again... such as "tass" and "tass'" instead of "tasses".

Good question. I'd have to pay attention to it specifically, but on the whole, I think she tends not to make them.

(Overall, she has several German accent features in her English, including [e:] for English /e/ ([EI] vel sim, for me.)
