Car-less again
Monday, 20 August 2007 19:05My step-mother had offered to lend us her car for the past two weeks since she was on holiday and wouldn't be needing it.
Usually, my sister would borrow it, but apparently, she has the use of her mother-in-law's car now, so she didn't need it.
By a coincidence, I had two weeks of holiday exactly then! So we accepted her offer, and it has certainly come in handy. We went to IKEA three times, to the deer park once, shopping several times, and so on.
But yesterday, we went to Pinneberg ward in the morning and on to my father's house afterwards, and returned the car. I had rather got used to having one, I think :) And my usually-nervous driving had improved quite a bit at having some experience several days in a row.
It was also interesting to see how many small children there are in Pinneberg ward (and a couple more on the way, it seems).
