Monday, 27 August 2007 09:38On Sunday, Sandolf was baptised, and Stella, Amy, and I went to the baptism.
There, we met a Sister Cha, and I asked her whether her name was Korean (it is), whether it's spelled with ㅈ or ㅊ (the latter, i.e. 차), and how to spell it in hanca (車).
One of her companions was Sister McLeod (pronounced, roughly, "McCloud"), who said she was from New Hampshire. Not often you meet people from there, and I remarked that I knew someone who had lived in Manchester; she said that was about fifteen minutes away from where she lived, and that (IIRC) her parents had lived there for quite a while.
