To Meike with Amy

Amy and I went to visit my co-worker Meike yesterday (Stella was away, taking care of children during a choir practice).

Wiebke seemed to be very happy to see Amy and immediately whisked her away into her playroom, where the two of them spent quite a bit of time.

I talked with Meike about all sorts of things.

Toward the end, we spent a bit of time in the garden, too, and at her parents'.

I used to know a Meike in highschool, she was Dutch.

In Germany, the spelling more common in the north (near the Netherlands), probably not by coincidence. (In the south, the spelling "Maike" is more common. The pronunciation is the same, though.)
