Cooling the Tube

nou wrote up notes from a very interesting talk on cooling the London Underground. Basically, the problem is that "the tunnel is a closed environment with a lot of energy sources", and they somehow have to get the heat out of there (especially out of the actual trains when the temperature is high), and various things they've already done and various other one's they're testing or considering.
Fascinating stuff.
