pne | A "Beluga" taking off

Today, when I went to the AIRBUS plant to renew my badge, I had the chance to see a "Beluga" transporter take off from pretty close by (I had gone to pick up something I had forgotten there the other week, from an office just beside the runway).

It was pretty impressive how that big lumbering hulk slowly picked up speed and then actually took off into the air. Those engines must have quite some *oomph* in them.
