Sunday, 6 June 2010 16:27I think it’s interesting that Amy says, “Schau mal!” when she wants to show someone something; for me, that’s a typically southern thing. (I’d use “Guck mal!”, pronounced with /k/ at the beginning.)
Just goes to show that children tend to speak like their peers, not like their parents. (I’m assuming she picked it up in kindergarten.)
