Things that native speakers of other languages might not get, part something in a series:

In FrontierVille, I got a quest to scare six bears. As a hint to let me know where I could find some, it said, “Bears live in the woods (yes, that too.)”

The parenthesised bit is presumably a reference to the well-known rhetorical question, “Is the Pope Catholic?”

Hmmm, I would have thought it'd be a reference to "Does a bear shit in the woods? ".

Well, yes.

But the two sentences/questions often go together, so I figured people who caught the FrontierVille reference would also catch my indirect/veiled reference and realise I was really pointing at your question rather than the one I ostensibly referenced.

Perhaps I was too subtle.
