I just stumbled across Jarkko Hietaniemi’s name in Japanese. Very clever, in my opinion!

(The characters are obviously meant to be read in kun-yomi, as in a typical Japanese name: yakko hie-tani-emi “Chap Millet-Valley-Laugh”.)
