Do you have a will? (as in "document indicating what to do after you die" not as in "motivation, drive")

If you have a will: when did you draw it up? (Either your age, or the occasion, e.g. "when reaching 18", "when I got my first child", "when I bought a house", etc.)

Do you have a living will? (e.g. what to do in certain medical situations when you cannot say so yourself; aka advance health care directive, personal directive, advance directive, or advance decision)

I don't and also can't see myself having a Patientenverfügung anytime soon - I think these are mainly DNRs and such, and well, I *do* want heroic measures to be taken. A will isn't yet that feasible for me, but I do have life insurance with my parents named as the people getting the money.

*pops in from network* I usually call them flash drives or zip sticks, more often zip sticks. I haven't looked into what would be involved in getting a legally binding will or living will, but I also don't know what I'd put in either, other than "any of my books that my parents don't want to keep, sell for the most you can get for them and give the proceeds to the local library" and "do something useful with my corpse; anything that involves a coffin probably doesn't count". (And I don't know that I trust my parents to do what I want instead of what they want. It's not like I'll be around to care.)

I also call them 'USB keys'.

I don't think I have a will that counts. When I was about 8 or 9 I made one on a post-it-note sized piece of paper that has likely been forgotten, but I suppose it might still be in my family files and take effect. I have been thinking of making one, though. I should probably at least make sure my childhood will is no longer in effect.

The word I use is "USB key". I'm not sure if I ever call them anything else, though I could find another word if someone didn't understand that one.

I have also been thinking of making a living will type thing... I probably should.

I don't have a will, but when we bought our house, I spent quite some thought on it. But somehow I never got my arse up, and now that we're getting married, I deem a will not that important anymore (because I want him to inherit my stuff, which would happen automatically when we're married).
I have a few insurances and investments where I've already named him as the one to get it if I die, but this probably doesn't count as a will.

Oh, and I didn't check any of the food choices, but as a diabetic, I have a problem with carbs in general (and fat and protein too, because during digestion, they get partially transformed into sugar as well). But I have insulin to take care of this, so it's not really a problem. And if I didn't have insulin, I'd also have a problem if I didn't eat anything, I'd die anyway, so not sure if food can be called a problem here - the absolute lack of insulin from my pancreas is the real problem :o)
