I just found out that

Phillip Newton was the father of Cassie Newton. A divorced man with a bad relationship to his ex-wife and seemingly with an alcohol problem, he nonetheless cared greatly for his daughter, even though he didn't consider her to be a particularly bright girl.

They spelled my name wrong, though :)

Only vaguely related, but you know you've been playing TeleDraw too much when the subject lines on your friends page start seeming like drawing prompts. (It's an internet game of whisper down the lane. One person gives a 120 character or less description. The next person draws it. The third person tries to make sense of their drawing in 120 characters or less. The fourth person tries to draw something matching that description. Etc. Really fun, except for the trolls who draw dicks regardless of the prompt, but they get banned fairly quickly.)
