Eep! I've nearly used up my monthly Internet transfer quota and the billing month is only half over (it runs from the 15th to the 14th).

I doubt those two Debian ISOs I downloaded a week ago have anything to do with that...

Will have to be a bit careful the next couple of weeks. Or pay for the extra volume.

The things you find out—the Wikipedia article on Yukihiro "Matz" Matsumoto, creator of the Ruby programming language, mentions that he "was also a Mormon missionary".

(This piece of information is apparently from an interview; this page also calls him "a Christian Mormon" (search for "Be Minor, Be Cool").)

I'm vaguely considering switching my email client.

I've used Pegasus Mail for years and have lots of mails stored there, which means this is not an easy decision. But Pegasus Mail still doesn't support character sets in emails, instead interpreting all characters as Windows-1252. Specifically, this means that it doesn't support UTF-8, which is not so good.

Also, now that I have a computer running Windows XP, which supports Unicode a whole lot better than the Windows 98 which was on my old machine, I'd like to be able to use this power.

If I do get around to switching email clients, are there any POP3 email clients for Windows XP you can recommend? If so, why? What experiences have you had with various clients?
