news: (1) shame on you and go add it now, and (2) LiveJournal will be having another permanent account sale soon.
The price has gone up to USD 150, which would be about four years of paid accounts + extra userpics. Or maybe you just want it as a status symbol or to support LiveJournal so the sum isn't so relevant? Anyway, thought I'd let y'all know.
Oh, and if you hadn't heard, there were purges recently, freeing up a bunch of usernames, so if you always wanted to rename but your favourite name was taken...
