What's funny to me is (1) how fake the retouched versions look (especially the ones that were edited to make the model look thinner!) and (2) how the most heavily retouched photos were often not very good to begin with, especially with regards to lighting. I'm an awful photographer, but with a decent digital camera even I can get the lighting much better than that.
