Amy's not doing too well—she started running a fever yesterday and it's been up and down since then. Last time Stella measured, it was still 39.9 °C (103.8 °F), which is pretty darn high even for an infant.

The pædiatrician prescribed some ibuprofen syrup which she's to take when her temperature exceeds 38.5 °C (101.3 °F).

Did your pædiatrician tell you at what temp you should be worried?

She said to start giving her ibuprofen at 38.5 °C and that over 39 °C was unusually high for a "normal" fever accompanying a new tooth (which broke through a day or two ago).

She was over 40 °C during the night, which is worrying, but Stella says her temperature feels normal this morning - thank goodness.
