I went and saw Narnia yesterday.

On the whole, I rather liked it. I felt that the children's characters were portrayed fairly well. My favourite was Lucy, though—Georgie Henley is quite the cutie, and I liked her range of facial expressions.

the one where she first appears in Narnia: it felt a wee bit too obvious that there must have been someone sitting just out of shot

The IMDB claims (http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt0363771/trivia) that Georgie Henley's reaction to the Narnia forest is genuine. She was so excited about seeing the set that the director blindfolded her and carried her on set, then started to film, however.
