Amy is ill
Sunday, 27 January 2008 19:24Poor Amy is ill.
She napped for two hours in the early afternoon, which is unusual; when Stella took her temperature afterwards, it was 39.4 °C (102.9 °F).
This evening, it was up to 39.8 °C (103.6 °F), so Stella gave her a suppository and let her sleep in her bed.

Date: Sunday, 27 January 2008 19:41 (UTC)When our son was 1,5 years old, he's got terrible diarrhea with fever and they hospitalized him and my wife in an isolation hospital. When I visited them on the 3rd day (I could only look at them through a window) it looked like he believed he would never come out, we even called him "little rag".
We give our son a pyretic when the temperature is above 38°C and we call an ambulance when it's above 40°C.
I'm sure everything will be OK with Amy! Good luck!

Date: Sunday, 27 January 2008 21:16 (UTC)She seemed to be feeling better about an hour ago, so perhaps the paracetamol was starting to work. She's now in her bed and (hopefully) sleeping -- let's see how she'll be in the morning.
Stella will probably end up taking her to the pædiatrician tomorrow either way.
