Poor Amy is ill.

She napped for two hours in the early afternoon, which is unusual; when Stella took her temperature afterwards, it was 39.4 °C (102.9 °F).

This evening, it was up to 39.8 °C (103.6 °F), so Stella gave her a suppository and let her sleep in her bed.

I always prefer to see the pediatrician when the fever gets that high. And why do the kids' fevers always seem to spike on the weekend, when the doctor is so much more difficult to get to?

Keep us informed.

Her temperature was 39.2 °C this morning at six but she's been horsing around for the past couple of hours so I think it's probably gone down by now.

That sounds like a good sign. Here's wishing her continued improvement.

BTW, she slept for over three hours at noon, Stella told me over IM, so she's not over it yet (whatever bug it is that she caught), but she does seem on the mend.

Sleep is good. Horsing around is better!
