I'm totally excited about [livejournal.com profile] we_swap_snacks and can hardly wait till signups open next weekend.

(And I wonder whether to wish to an Australian—so I could see what Tim-Tams are like—or an American—so I can see what Peeps are like. I think I'll just take whoever's assigned to me; chances are that'll be an American simply because of where the majority of users live.)

Yeah, I spent some time looking at pictures of all that strange snacks!

But mailing it would be criminally expensive...

Yeah, that's the big killer. I mean, something's just kinda wrong about paying $45 to ship $15 worth of snacks.

That was my thoughts too. And then I checked the prices, and they seems to be starting at $75. I knew there was a reason why I never send anything but postcards!

And that I hadn't vowed myself no chocolate.

Given it up for Lent? Or in general?
Though there are lots of snacks that don't involve chocolate...

Given up in general. I eat it when I am offered, but I do not buy it myself. And chocolate is mainly my snack of choice - I am weird like that.

But it would be fun to try out all those strange things I read about all the time!
