Fun to know that there's another person on my friends list who knows some Klingon!

Did you try the Klingon Postal Course (http://www.kli.org/study/postcourse.html) downloadable PDF lessons? (Though even that refers to the dictionary for background.) If you want to take the course, I'd offer to correct your lessons if you'd like.
Go get a copy of the dictionary! :D

I haven't tried the Klingon Postal Course, but when I'm not so busy I'd love to give it a shot. *makes a note*

Date: Friday, 11 April 2008 16:44 (UTC)And it's pronounced /qoʂlɪd͡ʒ ɖatɪvd͡ʒad͡ʒ/. Roughly, in English fauxnetics, "koash-lidge Da-tivv-jahj" (though the "sh" and the "D" are both pronounced retroflex -- think of an Indian person speaking English to get an idea of a retroflex "D" -- and the initial sound is further back in the mouth than an English "k").
